Worshiper, Use Insight!

[word vision] 11/15/11

Worshiping in prayer this morning

SAW: Insight

American Heritage Dictionary defines "insight" as a penetrating mental vision or discernment; faculty of seeing into inner character or underlying truth.

SAW: Obadiah (which means servant or "worshiper" of the Lord)

In a world full of color things really are black and white. There is either good OR there is evil.  There is NO in between. NO grey areas when it comes God and Satan.  For in this message God is calling for His worshipers, His children,  into greater insight greater discernment.

Many of you are having relationships with people you ought not have or at the very least having strong boundaries with.  Remember, a little yeast works through the whole dough.  Once you listen to the voice of the enemy and open the doors of your heart for fear of placing judgment on someone you are opening yourself up to their stuff.  If your convictions are not grounded firmly in the Word of God they will pull you down with them.  The voice of the enemy loves Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned..."  Remember when Satan tempted Jesus, he tempted Him with scripture "as it is written".  However, this verse remains to be God's Word, infallible and true. We must learn to judge all things from a spiritual standpoint. Being Spiritually discerning as those who are not walking in the Spirit are spiritually discerned, meaning they can not understand the things of the Spirit.  If you are judging out of your flesh and emotional states then you are falsely judging...and are at risk of being judged yourself.  However when we are walking in the Spirit and are lead by the Spirit we are allowed judge, as it is written we the Saints will judge the world (1 Corinthians 6:2);  Therefore, we being spiritual must judge all things (1 Corinthians 2:14-16).   Keep in mind, if the enemy can keep you from spiritually judging all things than he can keep you from correcting and restoring.  Essentially by doing this he can keep those walking in darkness in the dark.

"Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?" (1 Corinthians 6:2)

"14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he knowthem, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Corinthians 2:14-16)

God wants us to reach out to the lost but, He doesn't want us to do until we, ourselves, are strong in our place of understanding with Him. Thus, we have Matthew 7:5 and Luke 6:42.

"Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. "(Matthew 7:5)

"Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye."(Luke 6:42)

Many times, just showing love, without opening doors, can be the strongest witness.  While we are working to get our Spiritual walk corrected.

Confirmation:
After I had received this word this morning, I went to take my 5 year old to school and on the way home I heard this song by Casting Crowns.  I haven't heard it before.   Wow, What a perfect confirmation.  Worshipers use insight....Be Wise with your choices!
