[dream] 8/16/11
I was going out to eat with my husband and my friend but each restaurant we went to was closed and the plans changed... I asked the Father what was going on as it seemed everywhere we went there was no one out...An angel appeared before me and said, "No one is allowed to be out during the nylon strap of change."
[end dream]
I received an understanding that this was an actually strapping that was being released not a pleasant release...a spanking of sorts. God's children was to take cover not to be injured- or caught by the strapping.
[Father, thank you for this word... Lord now I ask please instruct this your servant on it's meaning?]
SAW: Ezekiel 18
HEARD: Proverb
*Nylon is a synthetic (man made) material characterized by extreme toughness, strength, and elasticity.
Ezekiel 18: 1-32
"The One Who Sins Will Die
1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel:
Psalm 91: 1- 16
" 1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

This morning as I posted Take Hold of The Church I was quickened to this word. Then I received an email from The Elijah List. I will copy and paste the email below...
[start email]
HURRICANE WARNING FROM NC TO NYC...
65 MILLION PEOPLE IN PATH...
8 Swept Off Jetty By Wave...
NYC BRACES FOR UP TO 12" RAIN...
COMPLETE SUBWAY SHUTDOWN PLANNED...
[end email]
After being quickened to this word, "Take Cover" I re-read my journal entry...and then re-read Steve Shultz's email... I couldn't help but realized that the scene in the dream was certainly one of an evacuation...Hum, I can't help but feel this was a warning to this storm.
My Father, I stand before you pleading for mercy, mercy and grace for our nation. Father, I ask that your relent from the full destruction of this storm~ In Jesus Name.
“‘The parents eat sour grapes,
and the children’s teeth are set on edge’?
and the children’s teeth are set on edge’?
3 “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. 4 For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child—both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die.
5 “Suppose there is a righteous man
who does what is just and right.
6 He does not eat at the mountain shrines
or look to the idols of Israel.
He does not defile his neighbor’s wife
or have sexual relations with a woman during her period.
7 He does not oppress anyone,
but returns what he took in pledge for a loan.
He does not commit robbery
but gives his food to the hungry
and provides clothing for the naked.
8 He does not lend to them at interest
or take a profit from them.
He withholds his hand from doing wrong
and judges fairly between two parties.
9 He follows my decrees
and faithfully keeps my laws.
That man is righteous;
he will surely live,
declares the Sovereign LORD.
who does what is just and right.
6 He does not eat at the mountain shrines
or look to the idols of Israel.
He does not defile his neighbor’s wife
or have sexual relations with a woman during her period.
7 He does not oppress anyone,
but returns what he took in pledge for a loan.
He does not commit robbery
but gives his food to the hungry
and provides clothing for the naked.
8 He does not lend to them at interest
or take a profit from them.
He withholds his hand from doing wrong
and judges fairly between two parties.
9 He follows my decrees
and faithfully keeps my laws.
That man is righteous;
he will surely live,
declares the Sovereign LORD.
10 “Suppose he has a violent son, who sheds blood or does any of these other things[a] 11 (though the father has done none of them):
“He eats at the mountain shrines.
He defiles his neighbor’s wife.
12 He oppresses the poor and needy.
He commits robbery.
He does not return what he took in pledge.
He looks to the idols.
He does detestable things.
13 He lends at interest and takes a profit.
He defiles his neighbor’s wife.
12 He oppresses the poor and needy.
He commits robbery.
He does not return what he took in pledge.
He looks to the idols.
He does detestable things.
13 He lends at interest and takes a profit.
Will such a man live? He will not! Because he has done all these detestable things, he is to be put to death; his blood will be on his own head.
14 “But suppose this son has a son who sees all the sins his father commits, and though he sees them, he does not do such things:
15 “He does not eat at the mountain shrines
or look to the idols of Israel.
He does not defile his neighbor’s wife.
16 He does not oppress anyone
or require a pledge for a loan.
He does not commit robbery
but gives his food to the hungry
and provides clothing for the naked.
17 He withholds his hand from mistreating the poor
and takes no interest or profit from them.
He keeps my laws and follows my decrees.
or look to the idols of Israel.
He will not die for his father’s sin; he will surely live. 18 But his father will die for his own sin, because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother and did what was wrong among his people.
19 “Yet you ask, ‘Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live. 20 The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.
21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. 22 None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
24 “But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.
25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear, you Israelites: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust? 26 If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin, they will die for it; because of the sin they have committed they will die. 27 But if a wicked person turns away from the wickedness they have committed and does what is just and right, they will save their life. 28 Because they consider all the offenses they have committed and turn away from them, that person will surely live; they will not die. 29 Yet the Israelites say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Are my ways unjust, people of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?
30 “Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. 31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, people of Israel? 32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!"
Isaiah 10:25-27
(NIV)
"25 Very soon my anger against you will end
and my wrath will be directed to their destruction.”
26 The LORD Almighty will lash them with a whip,
as when he struck down Midian at the rock of Oreb;
and he will raise his staff over the waters,
as he did in Egypt.
27 In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders,
their yoke from your neck;
the yoke will be broken
because you have grown so fat."

2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”"
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”"
Fill Thy Cup:
I believe we are entering into a time where God is dealing with those who refuse to turn from their sin: those who have known righteousness but have turned; those who stand in the way of His work being accomplished; and even those in ministry who are not heeding the righteousness of the Lord. The ministry is the Lord's and not your own to do with as you will... I caution you very highly if you are in the ministry and are grieving the Holy Spirit you are in danger...The use of the nylon signifies this is a man made strapping... One in which was brought on not out of the desires of God, but out of the continued rebellious acts of man. I believe the message of the nylon strap is double sided. Those who are dwelling in the shadow of the Almighty are safely hidden within their chambers (thus no on available in the restaurants from the dream) ...On the other side, those who are rebellious will fall during the time of change...the strapping of the nylon. God is bringing about this change and He is pleading for His children to take refuge...as he takes no pleasure in the death of anyone... Repent and Live! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

HEARD: To the same measure you sow, so will you also reap.
Galatians 6:7
"7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."
[start quote]
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- 8/16/11:
It is of utmost importance that you understand that your authority in any given situation is the direct result of carrying out your responsibilities. If you are reluctant to take responsibility for your motives, actions and attitudes, your ability to progress will be greatly inhibited. Don't forget that you reap what you sow; it is an immutable spiritual law. Now is the time to make adjustments where necessary so that you will reap a good harvest, says the Lord.
Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Unprecedented Crisis on East Coast
From the desk of Steve Shultz:
There is most certainly a crisis for the next few days, as this hurricane is going up the east coast. I am seeing titles on the net such as:
HURRICANE WARNING FROM NC TO NYC...
65 MILLION PEOPLE IN PATH...
8 Swept Off Jetty By Wave...
NYC BRACES FOR UP TO 12" RAIN...
COMPLETE SUBWAY SHUTDOWN PLANNED...
(Headlines obtained from Drudgereport.com)
Hundreds of thousands have been told they must evacuate away from the east coast because of the hurricane. Please be in prayer that lives will not be lost or at least keep loss of life to a minimum. They are saying this is the worst hurricane plus earthquake scenario on the eastern shores in 20 years. Beyond that, this is expected to last through the weekend.
There are times when God doesn't warn the prophets in advance.
It is my personal conviction that our lack of support for Israel and our stubbornness to serve God as a nation is causing God to get our attention and not intervene like He normally would. In the end, we will change our hearts and minds toward God and place our dependence upon Him. But this does not look good at this time.
I believe we are on the verge of the 3rd Great Awakening which will show HIS GLORY and HIS BLESSING to us. This awakening will eclipse the first two combined. I did discern that from the Lord ahead of time. But first, we need to call upon our God. He is overall pleased with America. But just as with our own kids, we sometimes have to let them learn the hard way.
I am sure some saw this event coming but they didn't write this to me in advance or I would have sent out a warning. Please keep this in prayer.
God loves the USA but He is calling us to attention.
