Armor UP

Because we live in this world...we are affected by the things of this world!  Satan appearing as an angel of lite contaminating the smallest of things....in that he may infiltrate our minds and establish a strong hold!!  For the bible says,  "Be self controlled and alert. Your enemy the devils prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith..."! Sometimes he so innocently appears to us saying, "It's just a game!" or "It's just a movie!" or "It's just a song!".  Then you begin to let your guard down and accept these words and the door is then open for him to enter and destruction is the end result.  Worst of which is the destruction of your testimony!  The only way you can stand firm in the faith is to be girded about with the armor of God  for without this you can not stand against the devil!

We are called to be holy as Christ is holy.  1 Peter 1:14-16 says, " As obedient children do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.  But just as he called is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: be holy, because I am holy. We must purify ourselves by OBEYING the Word of Truth.  Not reasoning with the Word of Truth!! We can not manipulate the Word of Truth to make it fit our fleshly desires!!  You can not leave a door partially open and tell Satan to not walk through it...

God's never does anything with reason... When he reveals sin to us, we are to be quick to be obedient!  Plain and simple!!

The Whole Armor of God¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; ¹⁶ above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. ¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; ¹⁸ praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— ¹⁹ and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."(Ephesians 6:10-20)
